Social Media & Community Manager

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Social Media & Community Manager to grow our digital reach and turn it into an engaged community of women from low‑ and middle‑income households. You will own both the creative and performance side of social media, driving campaigns and building lasting connections.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily activity on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, including content calendars, posting and audience interaction.
• Plan, execute and optimise organic and paid campaigns to attract more women, while managing the ad budget efficiently.
• Generate fresh campaign ideas and collaborations, see them through to measurable results.
• Work with the content team to ensure material reaches the target audience and drives engagement.
• Design and run community initiatives such as WhatsApp groups, peer‑to‑peer challenges, live sessions and user‑generated content.
• Foster a sense of belonging, identify active members and encourage them to bring others into the community.
• Track key metrics (reach, engagement, growth, retention, cost per woman reached) and report insights to the Programme Director and partners.

Required profile

• Creative and data‑driven with a genuine passion for campaigns and collaborations.
• Hands‑on attitude, able to move from idea generation to execution and performance optimisation.
• Comfortable owning outcomes and working closely with a team to achieve them.
