SOC Associate – Cyber Security Operations Center (Gurgaon)

About the role

BDO India is looking for a seasoned SOC Associate to lead a team of analysts in a 24x7 security operations environment. The role combines hands‑on monitoring, incident response, threat hunting and automation development for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Provide round‑the‑clock monitoring of security alerts using a SIEM platform.
• Lead and mentor SOC analysts and associate consultants.
• Conduct incident response investigations and coordinate with forensic partners.
• Onboard new log sources, verify data ingestion, and create custom SIEM content.
• Support and configure cyber technologies such as firewalls, proxies, DLP, WAF, DDoS mitigation, NIPS, HIPS, XDR and SOAR.
• Deploy solutions according to approved architectures and maintain SLA compliance.
• Participate in threat‑hunting activities and develop automation business requirements.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of experience in security monitoring, SOC operations or related cybersecurity roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
• Valid CEH certification.
• Expert‑level knowledge and OEM certification on at least three of the listed cyber technologies.
