SO_IT Operation Engineer

About the role

The SO_IT Operation Engineer will be responsible for onboarding Windows on‑premises infrastructure into Bosch’s enterprise operations platform. The role ensures that servers meet security, monitoring, backup and patching standards while integrating with ITSM and monitoring tools.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard Windows servers into enterprise management platforms, validating configurations and compliance.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Batch and other scripting languages.
• Maintain accurate CMDB records in line with ITIL standards and perform periodic audits.
• Support database‑related onboarding tasks with MS‑SQL Server and Oracle.
• Manage onboarding requests through ServiceNow and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
• Create and update SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or IT.
• Strong experience with Windows Server administration.
• Hands‑on experience with scripting (PowerShell, Batch) and automation.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow) and ITIL processes.
• Basic knowledge of MS‑SQL Server and Oracle databases.
