SLP Specialist, Security & Loss Prevention

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on, detail‑oriented Security and Loss Prevention (SLP) Specialist to protect Amazon’s operational sites across the supply chain. In this role you will deliver security as a service, safeguard people, and prevent loss while ensuring business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Support business resilience by contributing to emergency and crisis planning for assigned sites.
• Identify vulnerabilities related to loss, associate experience, and processes, and define mitigating actions in line with legal and ethical standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for risk management, coordinating with local management, law‑enforcement agencies, and external security partners.
• Ensure compliance of sites with Amazon’s global security standards.
• Conduct regular physical security audits and investigate policy violations, security incidents, and loss events.
• Collect and analyse data from monitoring systems, generate reports, and conduct interviews to uncover root causes.
• Develop and implement mitigation measures based on investigation findings.
• Maintain the health and functionality of security systems in collaboration with subject‑matter experts and external suppliers.
• Deliver loss‑prevention education and awareness programs to internal teams.

Required profile

• Hands‑on professional with experience in security, loss prevention, or related fields.
• Strong analytical and investigative abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal departments, external providers, and law‑enforcement agencies.
• Knowledge of compliance, legal, and ethical standards in security operations.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, operational environment.
