SLP Specialist, Security & Loss Prevention

About the role

Amazon is seeking a hands‑on, detail‑oriented Security and Loss Prevention (SLP) Specialist to protect its operational sites across the supply chain. You will deliver security as a service, safeguard people, and prevent loss while ensuring business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Support business resilience by contributing to emergency and crisis planning for assigned sites.
• Identify vulnerabilities related to loss, associate experience, and processes, and define mitigating actions.
• Serve as the primary contact for risk management with local management, law‑enforcement agencies, and industry associations.
• Ensure compliance of sites with Amazon global security standards.
• Conduct regular physical security audits, investigate policy violations, incidents, and loss events.
• Collect and analyze data from monitoring systems, reports, and interviews to uncover process gaps.
• Coordinate with external security service providers to maintain high‑quality security services.
• Deliver loss‑prevention education and awareness programs to internal teams.
