Skilled Carpenter – On‑site Role in Chennai

About the role

DECOZOPE is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Carpenter to join its construction team in Chennai. You will work on residential and commercial projects, turning design drawings into high‑quality wooden structures while upholding safety and craftsmanship standards.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret architectural drawings and measurements.
• Construct, install, and finish wooden structures, including walls, partitions, doors, windows, and trim.
• Select appropriate materials and cut, shape, and assemble components using hand and power tools.
• Perform framing work and detailed finish carpentry.
• Repair and maintain existing structures as required.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Required profile

• Proven carpentry experience in residential or commercial construction.
• Knowledge of local building standards and safety practices.
• Ability to read drawings, take accurate measurements, and work with minimal supervision.
• Physical capability to lift materials, stand for long periods, and work in varied site conditions.
• High school education or equivalent; vocational training or certification in carpentry is a plus.
