Site Supervisor

About the role

The Space Editors is seeking a full‑time Site Supervisor to manage daily operations at our project sites in Chennai. You will act as the bridge between designers, contractors, and vendors, ensuring that every construction activity aligns with approved plans, timelines, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day site activities and coordinate with design and construction teams.
• Monitor construction progress, manage site resources, and enforce safety regulations.
• Supervise site staff, resolve on‑site issues, and conduct regular inspections.
• Prepare and submit daily reports, checklists, and progress records to project managers.
• Maintain clear documentation and communicate updates to all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site supervision and project coordination on design or construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, interior fit‑out, and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings, layout plans, and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Competence in scheduling, resource allocation, and site documentation.
• Awareness of workplace safety practices and local regulations.
• Relevant background in interior design projects, architecture, civil engineering, or construction supervision.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Chennai and adapt to evolving project needs.
