Site QA/QC Manager

About the role

The Site QA/QC Manager leads quality assurance and control activities for all construction trades on‑site, ensuring that work complies with technical specifications, codes, and client requirements. This role oversees inspections, testing, documentation, and corrective actions to deliver defect‑free projects.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the site quality plan, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and standard operating procedures for civil, structural, MEP, and finishing works.
• Lead and manage the QA/QC team, assign tasks, review inspection reports, verify test results, and mentor junior staff.
• Conduct inspections at every construction stage, including excavation, reinforcement, concrete works, masonry, waterproofing, plastering, tiling, painting, structural steel, and MEP installations.
• Coordinate material inspections, verify vendor material test certificates, and oversee on‑site and third‑party testing such as cube and slump tests.
• Raise non‑conformance reports, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading QA/QC teams on construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of construction codes, technical specifications, and client quality standards.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and manage documentation and reporting processes.

Required skills

• Quality management systems and procedures.
• Inspection and testing protocols for civil, structural, MEP, and finishing trades.
• Non‑conformance reporting (NCR) and root‑cause analysis (RCA).
• Corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) implementation.
• Material testing techniques (cube tests, slump tests) and verification of material test certificates.
