Site Operations Manager – Crane Installation

About the role

Konecranes is looking for a Site Operations Manager to lead the installation, commissioning and safe operation of EOT cranes on customer sites. You will manage a team of site engineers, ensure compliance with safety standards, and act as the primary technical liaison for new orders and warranty cases.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of site engineers, ensuring high safety performance and zero accidents.
• Oversee EOT crane installation and commissioning activities on‑site.
• Conduct site assessments, provide precise updates, and travel on short notice when required.
• Support regional sales managers with technical discussions for new orders.
• Validate affiliate performance every three months and take ownership of project execution.
• Ensure financial targets are met without compromising safety.
• Coordinate critical project assessments and manage large‑size project visits.
• Address SAT issues with technical support to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance, conduct ISO audits, and maintain HSE documentation.
• Assist customers with warranty cases when the IS team is occupied.
• Supervise export order execution when needed.

Required profile

• Hands‑on knowledge of EOT crane installation and commissioning.
• Proven leadership experience managing site engineering teams.
• Strong commitment to safety and ability to achieve zero‑accident targets.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work in outdoor field environments.
• Ability to work independently, own project outcomes, and meet timelines.
• Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience.
