Site In Charge – Fire Protection Projects

About the role

The Site In Charge will lead the on‑site execution of fire protection and detection projects for Extinct Fire Engineers. Based in Mengio, this full‑time position ensures that all installation, testing and commissioning activities are carried out safely, on schedule and to the required technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise site teams, contractors and subcontractors daily.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and internal project managers.
• Monitor installation, testing and commissioning of fire safety systems.
• Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, material consumption records and safety checklists.
• Enforce safety procedures, conduct toolbox talks and support audits and inspections.
• Identify and resolve site‑related issues promptly to keep projects on track.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Fire & Safety Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong site supervision and project coordination abilities.
• Familiarity with safety standards and a “No Safety, No Work” mindset.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts and specifications.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with clients, consultants, vendors and site teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of fire protection and detection systems (hydrant, sprinkler, foam, spray, fire alarm, gas suppression).
• Technical drawing interpretation.
• Safety standards compliance.
• Basic documentation and reporting (daily site reports, material tracking, checklists).
