Site Head & General Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

The Site Head & General Manager will lead end‑to‑end manufacturing operations at our Sikkim facility, ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and on‑time delivery while driving operational excellence and business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute production plans aligned with business strategy and achieve on‑time‑in‑full (OTIF) delivery.
• Drive productivity, efficiency, capacity utilization and cost‑effective operations.
• Ensure CGMP and all regulatory requirements are met; oversee QMS, validations, audits and document approvals.
• Manage deviations, OOS/OOT, complaints and CAPA effectiveness.
• Lead internal and external audits, maintain the Site Master File and validation systems.
• Implement risk management and continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, QA/QC, R&D, Finance and Procurement for seamless technology transfer and supply continuity.
• Oversee EHS, plant hygiene, OPEX/CAPEX, inventory and infrastructure.
• Lead and develop the site leadership team, fostering engagement, training and effective manpower utilization.

Required profile

• 20+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing with senior leadership responsibilities.
• Graduation and post‑graduation in Engineering or Pharmacy.
• Proven competencies in collaboration, stakeholder management, strategic agility, talent development, result orientation, innovation, customer centricity and process excellence.
