Site Controller

About the role

The Site Controller will guide and advise the organization on economic decision‑making, ensuring financial practices align with corporate strategy and local regulations. Based in Thane with travel to Vikhroli, the role supports site management in cost evaluation and performance improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present accurate financial statements and business reports for senior management.
• Maintain and act as gate‑keeper for BASF applications such as Contract Management Database, COINS, I‑Comp, MARIS, Ocean, CARAT, and SCII.
• Support CAPEX/OpEx planning, small investment analysis, and regional/global project coordination.
• Supervise operational planning, cost budgeting, standard costing, and KPI monitoring.
• Analyze cost structures, implement cost‑control measures, and recommend savings initiatives.
• Deliver finance training and build site team knowledge.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and corporate finance.
• Ability to work across site functions, partner with business units, and influence decision‑making.
• Willingness to travel between Thane and Vikhroli as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with COINS (Cost Consolidated Reporting and Analysis).
• Experience using I‑Comp (ICTP).
• Familiarity with MARIS, Ocean, CARAT, and SCII applications.
• Competence in preparing financial statements and cost reports.
