Site Civil Engineer

About the role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Site Civil Engineer to lead multiple large‑scale aviation terminal projects across India. The role involves overseeing civil engineering activities on‑site, ensuring design compliance, safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers and stakeholders to develop detailed project designs and plans.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications and technical documents for compliance.
• Supervise all civil engineering activities at project sites, enforcing design specifications, safety standards and quality benchmarks.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely execution of construction activities.
• Implement robust quality‑control measures and conduct regular site inspections and audits.
• Monitor construction costs, prepare budgets, and ensure projects stay within approved budgets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 8–15 years of civil engineering experience on large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• At least 5 years of experience in aviation terminal or similarly complex projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Experience using STAAD Pro.
• Project scheduling with Primavera or MS Project.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction techniques and materials.
