Sigma Computing Administrator – Windows & Linux

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sigma Computing Administrator to own the end‑to‑end management of our analytics platform across Windows Server 2019 and Linux environments. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance tuning, and secure data access for enterprise‑wide analytics initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain the Sigma Computing platform, including user roles, permissions, and governance.
• Administer Windows Server 2019 services, Active Directory integration, IIS, and system updates.
• Manage Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) – patching, tuning, and automation via Shell scripts.
• Configure and troubleshoot data‑warehouse integrations (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) using ODBC/JDBC.
• Implement authentication mechanisms (SSO, SAML, OAuth) and enforce RBAC security policies.
• Monitor platform performance, optimise queries, and resolve slow‑dashboard issues.
• Develop backup and disaster‑recovery procedures for critical configurations.
• Provide L2/L3 support and collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• 7‑10+ years of hands‑on experience in platform administration, Windows Server, and Linux environments.
• Proven ability to work independently in offshore or hybrid settings.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on performance optimisation and security compliance.
