Showroom Receptionist

About the role

G|M Business Interiors is seeking a personable Showroom Receptionist to be the first point of contact for visitors in its Southern California showroom. You will create memorable experiences for clients making significant furniture purchasing decisions, ensuring they feel valued and informed.

Key responsibilities

• Greet visitors, answer questions, and manage incoming calls efficiently.
• Host showroom tours, prepare food and beverage, present products, and clean up after client visits and internal events.
• Maintain showroom appearance, including furniture placement, signage, cleanliness, and technology performance.
• Track and manage showroom inventory, ensuring proper checkout procedures.
• Maintain the showroom event calendar and coordinate technology setup.
• Support the Event Planning Committee with menu planning, entertainment booking, décor, subcontractor coordination, and photography.
• Assist the Sales Administration team with routine sales tasks and paperless file management when time permits.

Required profile

• Passion for furniture design and a desire to grow within the interior design industry.
• Strong sense of urgency and commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain organization, and follow protocols.
