Shopify App Developer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Shopify App Developer to design, build, and maintain custom Shopify applications and high‑conversion themes. You will work closely with our offshore development team to deliver robust e‑commerce solutions that extend the native capabilities of Shopify stores.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and maintain custom public or private Shopify apps using Liquid, Shopify CLI, and App Bridge.
• Develop “Online Store 2.0” themes from Figma designs, implementing Liquid, JSON templates, and metafields.
• Integrate Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, and GraphQL with external ERPs, CRMs, or databases.
• Audit and refactor code to achieve 90+ Google PageSpeed scores and minimize app bloat.
• Translate high‑fidelity Figma files into pixel‑perfect, responsive code.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of hands‑on experience with the Shopify ecosystem.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, preferring custom scripts over heavy third‑party apps.
• Exceptional attention to detail, able to spot UI inconsistencies quickly.

Required skills

• Liquid, Shopify CLI, App Bridge
• Node.js (or Remix) and PHP (Laravel) for backend development
• Modern JavaScript (ES6+), SASS/CSS3, Tailwind CSS
• GraphQL, REST APIs, Git version control
• Figma to code conversion
