Shift Engineer – Plant Maintenance & Leadership

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Shift Engineer to lead our plant maintenance team during a designated shift. You will ensure that all machinery, MEP systems, and production lines operate smoothly while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans for plant equipment and MEP systems.
• Respond immediately to technical faults, diagnose root causes, and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
• Guide technicians, assign daily tasks, and supervise the engineering team to meet shift objectives.
• Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols, including LOTO procedures.
• Ensure all equipment complies with statutory regulations and internal standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a similar engineering role.
• Strong leadership abilities to manage and motivate a technical team.
• Solid understanding of HSE regulations and safety best practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick, effective decisions.
