Service Engineer – Construction Machinery

About the role

L&T Construction and Mining Machinery is seeking a Service Engineer to join its team in Karimnagar, Telangana. You will be responsible for delivering commissioning, warranty, and after‑sales support for a range of construction machines, ensuring high customer satisfaction and reliable equipment performance.

Key responsibilities

• Commission, perform mandatory and warranty services, and troubleshoot machines at customer sites.
• Maintain accurate machine records, achieve target Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), and build strong customer relationships.
• Collaborate with dealer engineers to resolve issues and enhance service quality.
• Identify and pursue spare‑parts sales and workshop repair opportunities to meet set targets.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide regular updates to management.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Automobile engineering.
• 6–15 years of experience in the earth‑moving or construction equipment industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and the local language.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work on-site at customer locations.
• Proficiency with standard computer applications, especially MS Office.
