SEO Outreach Specialist – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

Canva is looking for a dedicated SEO Outreach Specialist to join its International SEO team on a six‑month contract. Working remotely from India, you will help scale the company’s organic growth by securing high‑quality backlinks for key landing pages.

Key responsibilities

• Identify India‑focused English and Hindi landing pages that would benefit from backlinks.
• Set link‑building targets in collaboration with the SEO Country Lead and Global Outreach Lead.
• Research and compile lists of relevant backlink prospects using Canva’s outreach playbook.
• Craft and send personalized outreach emails to secure high‑quality links.
• Develop and maintain relationships with website owners for future campaigns.
• Track progress in reporting spreadsheets and communicate any issues to the SEO leads.
• Contribute insights to improve the global outreach strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in white‑hat SEO outreach and link‑building.
• Ability to meet defined backlink targets and work autonomously.
• Strong communication skills for outreach and stakeholder updates.
• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating across time zones.

Required skills

• Excel (or equivalent spreadsheet tools) for reporting and tracking.
