SEO Executive

About the role

Forbes Advisor is seeking a dynamic SEO Executive to help grow its Marketplace platform in the United States. You will work closely with the SEO team and various Forbes production groups to improve organic visibility for financial‑services content such as credit cards, banking, loans, mortgages and investing.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the SEO Manager for the Legal verticals and build editorial roadmaps.
• Conduct detailed keyword research to identify high‑ROI terms and phrases.
• Analyze competitor domains to uncover growth opportunities.
• Optimize existing content – title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and copy – using robust content briefs.
• Compile backlink analyses to support outreach initiatives.
• Review content for schema markup and other technical SEO enhancements.
• Monitor overall site performance, rankings, and conversion metrics.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on SEO experience.
• Proven expertise in on‑page SEO, keyword research, competitive analysis, internal linking and content briefing.
• Experience with off‑page SEO and outreach projects.
• Strong familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
• Working knowledge of technical SEO elements including schema, canonicals and site speed.
• Passion for continuous learning and staying current with industry trends.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
• Experience in the U.S./U.K. legal industry is a plus but not required.
