Senior Wayfinding Designer

About the role

This senior position leads the creation of user‑centric wayfinding systems for built environments, combining strategic thinking, creative design, and cross‑disciplinary collaboration. You will shape navigation experiences across diverse project types, from luxury hospitality to healthcare and education.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and implement wayfinding, signage, and placemaking projects from start to finish.
• Develop creative direction and ensure solutions align with client goals and project requirements.
• Produce compelling narratives and presentations to communicate design strategies to stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, and other consultants to deliver integrated solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of creativity and excellence.
• Utilize design software to create sketches, illustrations, and detailed design drawings.
• Manage project schedules, resources, and workflow to meet delivery timelines.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regional regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, urban design, graphic design, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in wayfinding, signage, or environmental graphics across multiple typologies.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end delivery of complex wayfinding projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and stakeholder engagement.
• Deep understanding of local codes and standards governing wayfinding in the Middle East.
