Senior Water / Drainage Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Water/Drainage Engineer at AFRY, you will work on diverse and challenging projects that have a real impact. You will collaborate with a highly skilled team in Sweden through the Design Center, using cutting‑edge technology to deliver innovative solutions for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design water and drainage systems for infrastructure projects.
• Lead and support project teams and junior colleagues.
• Produce drawings and technical descriptions.
• Dimension and size pipes.
• Coordinate and drive issues to resolution through proactive communication.
• Ensure all deliverables are completed on schedule.

Required profile

• Positive mindset with a problem‑solving approach.
• Cultural awareness, conscientiousness and excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 8 years of experience designing water and drainage systems for infrastructure projects.
• Strong written and verbal English proficiency.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
