Senior UI Software Engineer – Payments Platform

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Senior Software Engineer focused on UI to join its Settings Platform team. You will help build modern, scalable user‑interface solutions that support core payment switching capabilities such as Authorization and Clearing, working in a cloud‑native environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop full‑stack UI solutions for the Switching platform.
• Translate complex business and technical requirements into robust digital products.
• Lead or contribute to end‑to‑end Agile (SAFe) product development from design through production.
• Collaborate with Business Owners, Architects, QA, SRE, and vendors to ensure successful delivery.
• Coordinate across multiple geographies and present project metrics to leadership.
• Drive initiatives for automation, defect reduction, and overall quality improvement.
• Participate in architectural discussions to align solutions with Digital Native Architecture and cloud‑native principles.

Required profile

• 10+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on UI/Front‑End.
• Proven experience in Agile/SAFe environments.
• Solid understanding of payments and cards industry, especially Authorization and Clearing.
• Experience leading quality initiatives and automation efforts.
