Senior UI & API SDET

About the role

We are looking for a Senior UI & API SDET to join Nestlé Nespresso Digital and Tech Team in Bangalore. The role focuses on owning, designing, and evolving UI and API automation frameworks integrated with DevSecOps and CI/CD.

Key responsibilities

• Own, maintain, and evolve UI and API automation frameworks ensuring scalability, stability and reusability.
• Design shared automation libraries, utilities, reporting solutions and reusable assets.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Define and promote automation standards and framework usage guidelines.
• Support contract testing, visual regression testing and testability‑by‑design where appropriate.
• Leverage AI‑assisted engineering practices to improve automation development and defect analysis.
• Mentor and coach automation engineers and contribute to Communities of Practice.

Required profile

• 7+ years experience in Test Automation, Quality Engineering or Software Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with UI automation frameworks such as Playwright.
• Experience designing and implementing API automation frameworks.
• Proven experience owning and evolving reusable automation frameworks at scale.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Strong software engineering background with version control, code reviews and design patterns.
• Experience working in Agile, DevOps or product‑led environments.
