Senior Team Member – Equities Operations

About the role

Bank of America’s Global Business Services is seeking a Senior Team Member to support the EMEA Equities process, handling trade fails, settlements, reconciliation and collateral management. The role involves interacting with internal and external teams, providing analysis, and driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and remediate failing trades, manage fails, breaks and collateral.
• Create managerial reports, workload statistics and value‑added analysis for the business.
• Identify workflow or system inefficiencies, propose improvements and share best practices.
• Maintain compliance with SEC record‑keeping and regulatory audit requests.
• Mentor and coach team members, ensuring high performance and adherence to service level agreements.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in global capital markets, especially equities and fixed‑income products.
• Strong analytical thinking, logical reasoning and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to prioritize workload, work accurately under pressure and handle escalations independently.
• Understanding of project management, Six Sigma concepts and business continuity management.

Required skills

• Good understanding of the trade life‑cycle for equities, ETFs and fixed‑income securities.
• Knowledge of global capital markets and regulatory requirements.
