Senior Tax Services – Statutory Accounting (Belgium) – Hyderabad

About the role

Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited is seeking a Senior Tax Services professional to support statutory accounting and financial statement preparation for cross‑border engagements, primarily focused on Belgium and other European jurisdictions. The role combines tax technical expertise with technology‑driven processes to deliver high‑quality client service.

Key responsibilities

• Convert accounts from management GAAP (US GAAP or IFRS) to local European GAAP (e.g., Belgium, France, Germany, UK) and prepare bridge files.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and accompanying note disclosures.
• Ensure compliance with quality, risk, and procedural checklists.
• Collaborate with colleagues across locations to meet delivery timelines.
• Utilise reporting platforms such as Workiva, Thomson Reuters, and CaseWare.
• Manage and analyse financial data using advanced Excel functions.
• Leverage automation tools to improve reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (BCom) with minimum 60% or equivalent CGPA, or MBA/PGDBM in Finance with similar academic standing.
• Professional qualification such as CPT/CA Inter with at least 3 years of articleship experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in a reputable firm.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
