Senior Tax Analyst – India & Bangladesh

About the role

Ralph Lauren India is looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to manage both direct and indirect tax compliance for its operations in India and Bangladesh. The role will support corporate income tax, GST/VAT, TDS/TCS, and transfer pricing activities while collaborating with internal teams and external consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and file corporate income tax returns and advance tax computations for India and Bangladesh.
• Manage TDS/TCS compliance, including deduction accuracy, tax deposits, quarterly filings and issuance of certificates.
• Reconcile TDS/TCS ledgers with the books of accounts and resolve mismatches promptly.
• Assist in tax provisioning, deferred tax calculations and quarterly/year‑end tax reporting.
• Maintain tax balances, schedules and documentation for audits.
• Handle GST/VAT compliance, including return preparation, input tax credit reconciliation and payment tracking.
• Support tax invoicing compliance and review vendor/customer tax documentation.
• Perform monthly reconciliations between ERP, books and tax returns.
• Prepare transfer pricing documentation, benchmark studies and data collation for inter‑company transactions.
• Coordinate with global tax teams, external consultants and internal stakeholders on all tax matters.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and proactive professional with solid experience in corporate tax, GST, TDS/TCS and transfer pricing.
• Strong knowledge of direct and indirect tax laws in India and Bangladesh and ability to assess business impact.
• Proven ability to work with external consultants and internal finance teams.
• Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills.
