Senior Tax Advisor – UK Tax & Finance Advisory

About the role

We are seeking a client‑facing Senior Tax Advisor to join our Gurgaon team. In this advisory position you will be the first point of contact for clients needing expert guidance on UK tax, finance and compliance matters, shaping solutions before handing over to delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with new and existing clients to understand their UK‑related financial, tax and compliance needs.
• Analyse client situations and identify the most appropriate tax or finance solution, leveraging knowledge of UK tax law and HMRC processes.
• Present solution options clearly, explain implications, and guide clients toward informed decisions.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, engagement frameworks and scope of work agreements.
• Maintain strong client relationships to uncover further advisory opportunities and ensure satisfaction.
• Stay up‑to‑date with UK tax legislation, HMRC guidance and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with service delivery, onboarding and technical teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Contribute to the development of advisory frameworks, proposal templates and client‑facing materials.

Required profile

• Qualified CA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• 3–5 years of post‑qualification experience in tax or finance advisory, preferably serving UK‑based clients.
• Experience in a Big 4 or top‑tier accounting firm is a strong advantage.
• Proven client‑facing advisory experience – owning conversations and driving outcomes.
• Exceptional written and spoken English with precise, confident communication.
