Senior Tax Advisor (GMS)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to join our Tax Global Mobility Services (GMS) team. The role involves providing tax advice and compliance support to expatriates, assignees and corporate clients, ensuring optimal tax outcomes and adherence to regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax advice to optimise benefits for employers and employees.
• Conduct entry and exit meetings with expatriates/assignees, manage local registrations and prepare personal tax returns.
• Assist in compensation structuring, including domestic and cross‑border employee stock option plans.
• Handle payroll and withholding tax compliance for clients.
• Advise on setting up liaison offices, visas, social security and related regulatory matters.
• Apply tax treaty provisions to personnel tax returns and advisory work.
• Provide FEMA advisory services for expatriates and individuals.
• Ensure internal document review, risk management compliance and maintain client deliverables in firm tools.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on current tax topics and keep client and billing trackers up to date.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0‑1 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Good communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience in individual taxation during articleship is an advantage.
