Senior Talend Developer / Lead Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Talend Developer who will also lead our data engineering initiatives. The role will drive complex data integration projects across SAP ERP, Talend, Kinaxis RapidResponse and modern cloud platforms, supporting global supply‑chain planning and enterprise data strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust ETL pipelines using Talend Data Integration (Open Studio) with template‑driven architecture.
• Integrate data from SAP S/4HANA/ECC, databases, APIs, flat files, MQs, XML and cloud repositories.
• Modernise legacy file‑transfer and XML interfaces, migrating them to automated, cloud‑native frameworks.
• Architect end‑to‑end integration solutions that include Kinaxis RapidResponse, MongoDB, Solace/RabbitMQ and other enterprise systems.
• Manage Talend Administration Center (TAC) and Runtime operations: job scheduling, versioning, environment promotions and performance tuning.
• Implement monitoring, alerting and logging to ensure reliable production operations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data mapping standards, enrichment logic and transformation rules.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Talend and large‑scale data integration.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and drive architectural decisions.
• Strong understanding of SAP ERP data structures and supply‑chain planning systems.
• Experience with cloud data services on Azure and Databricks.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to data quality.
