Senior Systems Administrator – Night Shift

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to lead the design, implementation and maintenance of our IT infrastructure. Working the night shift, you will ensure high availability, security and performance of our systems while supporting day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Research, evaluate and deploy new software and hardware solutions.
• Manage Entra ID (Azure AD) and Office 365 tenant, including user licensing.
• Maintain backup solutions, Azure virtualization, and Azure firewall.
• Configure, deploy and support servers, networking, and Azure VPN.
• Oversee remote monitoring (Ninja) for all end‑user devices.
• Develop best‑practice documentation and resolve high‑level technical issues.
• Coordinate with vendors for purchases and maintenance.
• Mentor junior IT staff and cross‑train team members.
• Administer company telecommunications, VOIP (GoTo), Zoom and Teams.
• Support and evolve cybersecurity policies.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 Administration (Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive).
• Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance (DLP, Sensitivity Labels, Defender, Secure Score).
• Azure Infrastructure – VM management, VPN, networking basics (VNets, NSGs, DNS, firewall).
• Azure Backup configuration and restore.
• Basic MySQL Server and IIS/web server administration.
• Ninja remote monitoring and management.
• VOIP systems (GoTo), Zoom, Microsoft Teams.
