Data Analytics Consultant – Power BI & IBM Cognos

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies is looking for an experienced Data Analytics Consultant to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and IBM Cognos. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality analytics that support business decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations based on business requirements.
• Create, modify, and schedule IBM Cognos reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and SMEs to gather reporting needs and define data models.
• Develop and maintain data models, dataflows, datasets, and gateways in Power BI Service.
• Implement performance‑optimization techniques such as efficient DAX queries, aggregation tables, and query folding.
• Work with relational databases (SQL Server, Azure SQL, Redshift) and write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and CTEs.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of professional experience in data analytics, BI development, or ETL engineering.
• Proven ability to deliver end‑to‑end reporting solutions in Power BI and IBM Cognos.
• Strong hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS preferred).
