Senior Structural Engineer

About the role

AFRY is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join its Noida office and collaborate with a Finnish team on diverse, high‑quality, sustainable projects across various materials. The role involves design, analysis and mentorship within a global, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and mentor junior designers through technical coaching, design reviews and support.
• Prepare and verify structural calculations according to Eurocodes and Finnish national standards.
• Perform 3D modeling and coordinate designs using RFEM, Tekla Structures and AutoCAD.
• Review and validate calculations, drawings and models to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate structural design deliverables to meet Finnish client and contractor requirements.
• Take responsibility for the quality of structural designs and drive issue resolution through proactive communication.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Structural Engineering (EU).
• Fluent English and willingness to develop Finnish language skills for documentation.
• Over 10 years of structural design experience, including at least 3 years on Nordic projects.
• Proven track record in industrial and public sector projects.
• Experience in project management and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficient use of RFEM.

• Proficient use of AutoCAD.
