Senior Structural Engineer – Concrete

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer specialized in reinforced concrete to join our Structures & Bridges team in Pune. The role involves leading the analysis and design of complex concrete structures for large‑scale infrastructure and building projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete elements such as high‑rise buildings, stadiums, airports, malls, culverts, and tanks.
• Develop design solutions that comply with international codes and standards, considering gravity, wind, and seismic loads.
• Prepare calculations, technical reports, design criteria, presentations, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, transportation and other disciplines to ensure seamless delivery.
• Review and validate structural and shop drawings, and support construction documentation.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities and assist in project estimation.
• Participate in third‑party design reviews and address comments.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers, ensuring high‑quality deliverables.
• Support QA/QC procedures and develop Excel tools or scripts to improve workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in reinforced concrete analysis and design.
• Strong understanding of structural analysis, load paths, wind engineering, and seismic design principles.
• Experience with international design codes and standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, and SAP2000.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Advanced Excel skills for calculations and automation.
