Senior Storekeeper – Construction Materials Management

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Storekeeper to oversee daily store operations, material receipts, inventory control, and documentation for our construction projects. The role involves coordinating with multiple departments to ensure timely and accurate material handling.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily receipt, storage, and issue of construction materials.
• Maintain accurate stock records, registers, and inventory reports.
• Verify received materials against purchase orders, challans, and quality specifications.
• Ensure proper storage, preservation, and safety standards within the store.
• Issue materials to site teams based on approved requirements.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain GRN, material issue slips, stock registers, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Project, Accounts, and Site teams.
• Monitor stock levels and flag material shortages.

Required profile

• Graduate or Diploma in a relevant discipline (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and inventory management.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems; experience with Farvision ERP is a plus.
• Ability to manage store operations independently.
