Senior Storage Engineer

About the role

The Senior Storage Engineer (Sr. Executive – Stores) is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, preservation and issue of hardware materials required for manufacturing. The role ensures material availability, inventory accuracy and compliance with SAP processes while supporting uninterrupted production.

Key responsibilities

• Receive materials against purchase orders and delivery challans, verify quantity, quality and documentation before GRN preparation.
• Coordinate with QA for inspection and material clearance.
• Identify, label and store materials correctly, maintaining FIFO/FEFO implementation.
• Maintain inventory accuracy of 99% or higher and prevent stock shortages or excess.
• Run daily MRP, update purchase department and investigate inventory variances.
• Maintain records of inward/outward movements, stock reconciliation and proper stacking methods.
• Uphold 5S standards in the warehouse and ensure audit compliance (ISO/IMS).
• Collaborate with Purchase, Production, Quality, Finance and Dispatch teams.
• Follow up with suppliers for shortages, damages and discrepancies.

Required profile

• Any graduate degree.
• Strong focus on inventory accuracy and material preservation.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and adhere to safety and audit standards.
