Senior Steward

About the role

The Senior Steward is a full‑time, on‑site leader of stewarding operations at Aldovia Resort & Convention. Reporting to the Food & Beverage team, you will ensure that all kitchen, service, and banquet areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and readiness for guest events.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen and service areas across all food & beverage outlets.
• Coordinate stewarding staff schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to maintain safety and service standards.
• Support set‑up and breakdown of banquet functions, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and crockery, placing orders as needed.
• Collaborate with culinary and F&B teams to ensure smooth back‑of‑house operations.
• Train and coach junior stewards on hygiene protocols, best practices, and resort standards.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication skills for internal team support.
• Solid understanding of food & beverage and banquet workflows.
• Proven experience supervising stewarding or support staff in hotels, resorts, or large event venues.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and occupational health standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Organizational attention to detail in a high‑volume environment.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy for handling schedules, checklists, and operational reports.
