Senior SSD Software Engineer (Open to Persons with Disability)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Engineer specialized in SSD software to join our team in Bangalore or Hyderabad. The position is open to candidates with locomotor, low‑vision, or hearing disabilities (up to 50%). You will work on both client and enterprise SSD programs, driving test automation and issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and debug complex test methods for SSD hardware and firmware.
• Design and implement test automation frameworks to increase coverage and predict failures.
• Create test cases for new SSD features and analyze customer‑reported issues.
• Automate test cycles using scripting to shorten qualification times.
• Execute and enhance test scripts on host systems to uncover hardware, firmware, and host‑related problems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of manual and automation test execution in storage environments on Windows and Linux.
• 5+ years of test framework development experience using Python.
• Strong self‑motivation and ability to work with globally distributed teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C, C++ and Python programming.
• Understanding of storage interface protocols: SATA, SAS, NVMe.
• Experience with GUI and CLI test execution tools.
• Knowledge of Windows and UNIX/Linux server storage environments.
