Senior Solutions Architect – Data & AI

About the role

As a Senior Solutions Architect you will shape the future of the Data & AI landscape by working with sophisticated data engineering and data science teams. You will act as a technical advisor to the sales team and advocate for customers, helping them achieve data‑driven outcomes using the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to provide technical leadership and demonstrate how Databricks solves business problems.
• Develop account strategies, define and execute plans to drive adoption of Databricks solutions.
• Consult on big‑data architectures, implement proofs of concept spanning data engineering, data science, machine learning, and SQL workflows, and validate integrations with cloud services and third‑party tools.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and fellow Solutions Architects to influence the roadmap and build technical champions.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in data engineering, data science, technical architecture or pre‑sales consulting.
• Strong consulting and customer‑facing background across multiple industry sectors.
• Proven coding experience in Python, R, Java, Scala or Apache Spark.
• Hands‑on experience building distributed data systems and deploying solutions on AWS, Azure or GCP.
