About the role

Senior Software Technologist I – C++ at Philips, based in Bangalore, focusing on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Windows‑based software components using modern C++ and C#.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software components and applications using C++ and C# in a Windows environment.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, debugging, and maintenance.
• Develop and maintain applications with Visual Studio, manage source code with GitHub, and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Configure build systems with CMake, manage dependencies with Conan and NuGet, and write unit tests using Google Test.
• Perform debugging, root‑cause analysis, and defect resolution, and contribute to peer code reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, IT or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of professional software development experience with C++ and C#.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming, data structures, algorithms and software design principles.
• Hands‑on experience developing Windows applications and working with Windows OS fundamentals such as Registry, Processes, Services, Threads, File System and UAC.
