Senior Software Engineer – Test Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test to join our Vault Infrastructure team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining automation frameworks, writing automated tests, and optimizing testing processes for infrastructure changes and features.

Key responsibilities

• Understand Vault infrastructure architecture and use AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker for testing infra changes.
• Set up, maintain, and improve the infrastructure test environment.
• Develop automation strategies for features such as zero‑downtime upgrades, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Build, maintain, and enhance the automation framework, test harness, and CI/CD integration.
• Execute tests, verify bugs, and triage automation results within release milestones.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development or test automation, focusing on infrastructure testing.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Programming in Java, JavaScript, Python, Bash/Shell.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, EKS) and container technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and version control systems GitLab/GitHub.
• Familiarity with build and test tools like Maven, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, BDD.
