Senior Software Engineer – React Native

About the role

3Pillar is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specialized in React Native to help build AI‑native mobile experiences for enterprise clients. You will work within cross‑functional squads to deliver high‑quality, offline‑first applications that integrate tightly with our HelixAI platform.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate project status and recommendations to client stakeholders.
• Migrate legacy JavaScript codebases to TypeScript, ensuring maintainable architecture.
• Design and implement new features for the React Native app using modern best practices.
• Optimize the app for offline‑first usage with local databases and caching strategies.
• Integrate state management with Redux and coordinate with existing backend services.
• Leverage Expo (including DevClient, SDK, notifications, camera, updates, and EAS) to streamline development and deployment pipelines.
• Write efficient GraphQL queries and mutations for data fetching.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Stay current with trends in React Native, TypeScript, and mobile development.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional React Native development, including functional components, hooks, advanced state management, and performance optimization.
• Strong TypeScript experience (5+ years).
• 3+ years with Expo, including Expo DevClient and EAS CI/CD workflows.
• Proficiency with Redux, Redux Thunk or Redux Saga, and RTK Toolkit.
• Experience building native iOS (Swift/Objective‑C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) modules for React Native.
• Solid understanding of mobile performance optimization.
• Excellent English communication skills.
