Senior Software Engineer (Python) – Automation & Developer Platforms

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer (Python) you will build and evolve Python‑based automation and internal platforms that enable hundreds of engineers to build, test, comply, and ship faster. You will work in a team that operates internal engineering platforms spanning CI/CD infrastructure and Python tooling/services across multiple product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python CLI tools and APIs used by many engineering teams, focusing on robustness and long‑term maintainability.
• Raise software engineering quality through solid architecture, testing strategy, code reviews, release processes, and documentation.
• Improve and automate CI/CD workflows and platform operations using an infrastructure‑as‑code and reliability mindset.
• Build and operate platform components for monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to understand workflow pain points, provide guidance, and deliver pragmatic solutions.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of professional experience building production‑grade Python software (services, libraries, tooling).
• Strong commitment to code quality, clean design, automated tests, CI, and documentation.
• Comfortable working in a DevOps/SRE environment with automation‑first, monitoring‑driven, and security‑aware practices.
• Ability to quickly learn new domains, switch contexts, and own end‑to‑end delivery from design to operability.
