Senior Software Engineer – Embedded Testing Automation

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead embedded testing automation efforts. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with both local and distributed teams to ensure robust verification of multi‑layer applications.

Key responsibilities

• Validate web applications, REST APIs, and embedded communication blocks (WiFi, Ethernet, Serial RS‑232, CAN).
• Design, develop, and scale custom test automation frameworks from scratch using Python and Pytest.
• Integrate automated test suites into GitLab CI/CD pipelines for continuous verification.
• Trace software requirements to test cases using Jira and Jama Connect.
• Set up and maintain V&V test environments compliant with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer, Electronics, Telecommunications or equivalent).
• 4–7 years of hands‑on experience in web, API, and embedded software testing.
• Proven ability to build automated test frameworks using Python (Pytest) or Java (Selenium/TestComplete).
• Experience with Jira, Jama Connect, GitLab, and SQL databases.
• Comfort working in fast‑paced Agile environments with 20% travel.
