Senior Software Engineer, Ecommerce

About the role

Design, build, test, integrate and operate enterprise ecommerce solutions on Shopify and Shopify Plus. Provide technical guidance and mentorship while ensuring high code quality and reliable releases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop full‑stack functionality using JavaScript, Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs and headless commerce.
• Own code quality through unit, functional and regression testing, code reviews and technical troubleshooting.
• Support deployment, production issue resolution and CI/CD pipelines, optimizing web performance and CDN/caching.
• Integrate with OMS/ERP/WMS and SFSC/SFMC systems.
• Utilize Claude Code for AI‑assisted development.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on ecommerce engineering experience, primarily on Shopify and Shopify Plus.
• Strong technical mentoring capability and ability to deliver dependably on time.

• Shopify platform capabilities (Collections, Products, Discounts, Promotions) and Services framework.
• Shopify APIs and headless commerce.
• JavaScript, Node.js.
• REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Web performance, CDN/caching.

• Technical troubleshooting.
