Senior Software Engineer - Android

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer specialized in Android to join our fast‑growing travel technology team. You will help design, build and ship high‑quality consumer‑facing mobile experiences that power millions of journeys across India.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, release and maintain native Android applications from concept to production.
• Own the full app lifecycle: design, build, test, deploy to stores and provide ongoing support.
• Collaborate with product managers and fellow engineers to translate requirements into reliable features.
• Identify and fix bugs, improve performance and ensure security compliance.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to boost development efficiency.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering, preferably from a top institution.
• 3‑5 years of professional experience building Android products in a product‑focused environment.
• Experience with e‑business or e‑commerce applications; travel‑industry exposure is a plus.

Required skills

• Android SDK with strong proficiency in Core Java and Kotlin.
• Android Architecture Components, Dagger 2/Hilt, MVVM pattern.
• Solid understanding of algorithms, design patterns, memory management, networking, debugging, concurrency and multi‑threading.
• Experience with continuous integration, unit testing, app security and deployment pipelines.
