Senior Software Engineer - 3D Visualization (Three.js, Javascript)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to create interactive 3D web applications using Three.js, JavaScript and WebGL. The role combines front‑end 3D development with Python‑based computational geometry.

Key responsibilities

• Develop interactive 3D applications with Three.js, WebGL 2.0 and custom GLSL shaders.
• Work with 3D assets such as STL files, meshes, scene graphs and implement transformations, coordinate systems and matrix operations.
• Build UI‑3D interactions using events, RxJS and observers, and optimise performance, responsiveness and memory usage.
• Write Python modules for computational geometry, image processing, segmentation and measurement algorithms.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 4–8 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong OOP, SOLID principles and design‑pattern knowledge.
• Experience with unit testing and technical documentation.

Required skills

• JavaScript (ES6+), Python.
• Three.js, WebGL 2.0, GLSL shaders.
• RxJS, event‑driven UI programming.
• Handling of STL files, meshes, scene graphs and 3D transformations.
• Performance optimisation, memory management and parallel processing.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, Azure Functions, serverless Python.
• Basic knowledge of OpenCV, scikit‑image and classical computer‑vision algorithms.
