Senior SEO & AEO Specialist – B2B Tech Agency

About the role

We are seeking an analytical, outcome‑oriented Senior SEO & AEO Specialist to drive organic growth for a portfolio of B2B technology clients. In this agency setting you will blend traditional SEO with cutting‑edge Answer Engine Optimization for AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑intent B2B keyword maps, entity strategies and AI‑focused content briefs that generate pipeline‑driving traffic.
• Perform on‑page and technical SEO audits, implement advanced schema, and resolve crawlability, Core Web Vitals and site architecture issues.
• Design and execute digital PR, citation, and backlink campaigns to boost brand authority and LLM visibility.
• Automate repetitive SEO tasks using custom GPTs, APIs, Make, Zapier or Python scripts to increase efficiency.
• Analyze performance data from GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush and Looker Studio, and present insights to senior marketing leaders.

Required profile

• 3‑8 years of hands‑on SEO/AEO experience, preferably with B2B tech or SaaS brands.
• Agency background managing multiple client accounts and meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of vector search, retrieval‑augmented generation and how AI answer engines retrieve content.
• Excellent client‑facing communication skills, able to present data and advise senior marketers.
