Senior Security Analyst – Security Operations Center (SOC)

About the role

Mobileum is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to lead its Security Operations Center (SOC) in Gurgaon. The role combines advanced incident investigation, detection engineering, and coordination with both internal teams and the Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP). You will support 24x7 operations and help drive continuous improvement of the SOC.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investigations of complex security incidents escalated by the MSSP and SOC analysts.
• Validate incident severity, business impact, attack scope and define response actions.
• Coordinate containment, eradication, recovery and post‑incident activities across IT, cloud, network and application teams.
• Design, develop and optimise SIEM detection use cases and detection logic.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting using intelligence‑driven methodologies.
• Review MSSP investigation quality, monitor SLA adherence and recommend improvements.
• Onboard new log sources and enhance SOAR playbooks.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly SOC reports, dashboards, KPIs and executive presentations.
• Maintain SOC documentation, playbooks, runbooks and technical standards.
• Drive SOC maturity, automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior SOC or cyber‑security analyst role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with ownership mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills for executive reporting.
• Relevant certifications such as CrowdStrike Falcon Certification are a plus.

Required skills

• SIEM platforms: CrowdStrike NGSIEM, Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar.
• Endpoint Detection & Response: CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender.
• Cloud environments: Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, AWS (preferred).
• Email security and SOAR orchestration.
• Frameworks: MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, ISO 27001.
