Senior SAP BTP CAPM Developer

About the role

KPMG India is looking for a Senior SAP BTP CAPM Developer to design, develop and deploy cloud‑native applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform. You will work closely with functional teams and architects to deliver integrated solutions for SAP and non‑SAP systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) on SAP BTP.
• Build and enhance Fiori/UI5 front‑ends following modern UI/UX standards.
• Develop backend services with Node.js or Java, focusing on TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Create OData V2/V4 services, REST APIs and event‑driven architectures.
• Integrate solutions with SAP S/4HANA, third‑party systems and cloud services.
• Utilise SAP BTP services such as Destination Service, XSUAA and Cloud Foundry.
• Ensure performance, scalability and security best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on SAP development experience.
• Strong expertise in SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry) and SAP CAPM.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js and Java.
• Solid experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
• Knowledge of OData, CDS, REST APIs, micro‑services and event‑based systems.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with SAP Business Application Studio or Web IDE.
